An investment in Renewables.org is not a donation, it’s a 0% interest loan that’s repaid over five years – so no tax deduction can be claimed.

Once you make a non-profit investment, you earn repayments monthly, over five years. Since cash can be withdrawn or reinvested, this does not constitute a charitable donation and therefore is not tax deductible.

Renewables.org does offer a tax deductible Donor Edition for non-profit investors which requires a minimum commitment of $10,000.
